At Galaxy we focus on having fun and playing with a smile. We want to create great friendship and lasting memories. We do much of this through sport: Touch.

At our club we’re fortunate to have the Scotland Mens & Womens coaches. This means that no matter your level of experience you know that we have the top coaches in the country to help you develop and progress.

be part of something bigger

We are the Scottish section of this global club, having launched in 2008. There are over 20 Galaxy Touch clubs around the world, with teams in Santiago (Chile), Hong Kong (China), Washington (USA), Gold Coast (Aus) to name but a few. 

The original Galaxy club is in Auckland, born in 1987. In 2017 they hosted a 30th birthday party with all the teams from around the globe descending on Auckland for a fun tournament.

we do more than sport

Whilst Touch brought us together, we also have other interests and are a very social club. 

We have regular nights out, go for brunch, climb munros, go paddleboarding and host boardgame nights. You can get involved with as much or as little of our off field activities as you like!

our track record speaks for itself

We are the most successful club in Edinburgh over the past 14 years. In 2021 we won all divisions of the Touch Superleague (Mens, Womens and Mixed) and also won gold & silver in the In2Touch Mixed division with our Junior Development side and a ladies team respectively.

In addition to this, a number of players have joined our club and progressed through to Regional and National honours. This is testament to the great culture and coaching setup at the club.

developing tomorrow's talent

We are the only club in Edinburgh to have a youth setup. This is hugely important for the sustainability of the club and sport.

We look to ensure our young people develop as good people and good athletes.

  • All levels of experience and ability are welcome
  • All genders over the age of 12 are welcome
  • Our sessions are game based as you learn best when you have fun and playing games is fun 
  • We’ll do our best to make you feel welcome and make sure you have fun, all whilst developing your Touch skills.
